You must do some preparation before you can upload your photographs.

  1. First you may need to resize your photos for display on a website.

    • As a guide, you may save pictures at low resolution, 200 ppi (pixels per inch).

    •  Limit the dimensions of your pictures to a maximum of 800 pixels by 600 pixels.

  2. Name your picture file with a logical name rater than a descriptive one

    • mgm0034.jpg, is a logical name

    • Birthday2009, is a descriptive name

  3. Arrange your picture files in the order you would like them displayed, you will upload them in order.

Pictures on the website will be organized in Collections.  For the sake of visitors using older browsers it is best to keep each collection to fewer than 25.  You can upload as many Collections as you wish; name each with a short descriptive name.
